For part three of our continuing review of the new Blood Angels, we take a look at Shield of Baal: Exterminatus. Spoiler Alert: it's awesome.

Many of us were excited to see what kinds of formations were going to be revealed with the release of Shield of Baal: Exterminatus. Yes, there are Necron formations, but really, ain't nobody got time for those 'crons (just kidding, we talk about the Necrons too). It's all about the BA Blood Angels, and this book has some doozies. With new warlord traits for both progenitor Blood Angels and also Flesh Tearers, as well as a slough of formations that imbue your troops with a bunch of handy special rules. Check out our review below.

Check out my youtube channel covering Tau, Tyranids, and Blood Angels tactica, battle reports, and hobby. There's also a little bit of Wood Elves sprinkled in there for good measure and for those of us who enjoy right angles on our bases.

  1. Finished the book, yes, it can only be called awesome, the amount of crazy and insane stuff both necrons and imperials pulled make me remember why I got into 40k first time.
