Hello, my name is Dave, and I'm an addict, a 40k addict. I’ve been creating terrain templates for a few years now always giving them away free so that folk can get into the hobby for a little less financial outlay.

More recently I’ve been creating ‘Print & Play’ buildings. These are very simple pre-textured box buildings that can be printed out, stuck to foamboard and you have instant line of sight blocking terrain in a variety of sizes and skins. All it costs are the materials - some foamboard [or even cardboard], printer inks and a bit of glue.

When you're starting out in the hobby, money and time is precious, so if you want a battlefield bristling with buildings for Cities of Death and would be rather painting your miniatures then there is plenty of variety in the buildings. With the addition of three new templates you can now even add them together to create soaring tower blocks. Additionally you could tear them apart to make ruins or print extra copies onto cardboard so you can attach for a quality 3D decoupage effect structure. The choice of how much time and effort you want to invest is up to you, make of them what you will.

Also, I have a selection of more complex templates that are un-textured, so you can paint them in whatever colour scheme you choose. Already people are adapting and remixing the templates for their own grimdark visions of the 41st millenium. There are even templates that formed the basis of my very own scratchbuilt Tyranid Bastion, so it's not all buildings for the Imperium, there's heretical Xenos love too!

So, if you're in need of any buildings the latest templates are available here: http://40kaddict.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/terrain-is-everything-hail-omnissiah.html

And all the legacy templates are available here:

  1. good work there man i will have to have a look at these:)

  2. Very much appreciated, just brought the imperial sector

  3. That's awesome!
Many of these will make perfect WHFB buildings with some tweaking.

  4. You're all very welcome, should you do anything with them please let me know. I'd love to see pictures of them in use or how you tweaked them to fit your own battlefield.. I'll get round to doing some more soon.
