What's On Your Table:
This is 2 in one recently finished with WIP photo's of some custom terrain for something different, the bridges are modular allowing for a lot of different layouts typically a single highway or double as shown in photo as a quick mock up. Makes a good LOS blocker also with their support structures and of course elevated platform shanninagans for skimmers, jumpers & DS units. Inspired by a UK youtube batrep I saw awhile ago. Made from polystyrene, bit of tassy oak wood for extra strength to allow lots of heavy models and 3mm mdf base extended wide to give good support. Textured and extra strength added to polystyrene with PVA glue and fine sand.

The second project shown which you could omit if you like is my set of crystal forests (impassable terrain and massive height LOS blocker) inspired by good 'ol starcraft. Made from polystyrene and 3mm mdf base. Used a hot cutting wire on an angle to get the crystal cut the way they are. Extra strength added to polystyrene with PVA glue mixed into based coats of paint.

Hope you enjoy.

  1. dude.......DUDE............these are great....i cannot believe the crystals are polystyrene. also the highway looks very fallout-ish post apocalyptic wasteland-y 11/10 would be keen on seeing more terrain you make.

  2. There are VERY pretty. I'm particularly taken with the highway bridges - they must make for some sweet 3D tactics! If you ever feel the itch to do a tutorial, you'll have a viewer right here.
