Hi everyone,

Over the past few days we have been receiving a lot of e-mails regarding GW’s newest game, Age of Sigmar. Seeing how a lot of players are worried about the future of WHFB, we want to take a moment and make our stance on AoS clear:

1pFB/1pFS are not going to be impacted by AoS.

The games will remain the same, so you can enjoy your regimental battles and skirmish games as always. We are not going to be changing any armies, and unless people request them as fan armies, we are not going to make army pages for the newly released AoS models as of right now.

That being said, we are listening to the community and have heard players concerns regarding the 4 page AoS rules. Many players had been hoping that the rules would be more strategic and balanced, but sadly GW disappointed in that regard. Because of this today we are releasing our newest game: Page of Sigmar!

Page of Sigmar is a new take on the AoS rules, condensing everything into just 1 page and modifying the rules to create a deeper tactical experience. The ruleset adds many important things, such as new victory conditions based on capturing objectives, and expanded terrain rules so you can use all of your scenery with ease.

All of this has been done in such a way that you can play Page of Sigmar using all of the current warscrolls that are officially released by GW, meaning that all of your WHFB and AoS miniatures are supported. This also means that as new warscrolls are released by GW you don’t have to wait for us to adapt them, as everything is compatible with Page of Sigmar.

Because of the sheer amount of warscrolls available we are not going to be able to release any sort of point costs for the warscrolls. We recommend playing with roughly the same amount of miniatures and unit types to keep things balanced.

Over the coming weeks we are going to keep playtesting Page of Sigmar and refining the rules, and as always your comments and feedback are appreciated!

Happy Wargaming!
